Before you book your Neopause Specialist Clarity Session, there are several critically important facts about the nature of this session, the legal status of Neopause as a platform, and the licensing of the specialists you will speak with. These facts are not fine print — they are the foundation of your informed decision to proceed.
| Neopause IS | Neopause IS NOT |
|---|---|
| A digital health information and education platform | A licensed medical institution, clinic, or healthcare facility |
| A platform that facilitates access to health education sessions with qualified professionals | A telemedicine platform providing remote medical consultations as defined by law |
| An information platform governed by Malaysian law and PDPA 2010 (Amendment 2024) | Registered or regulated under the Malaysian Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 as a healthcare provider |
| A wellness and education program delivering evidence-based health information | A platform that diagnoses, prescribes, treats, or manages any medical condition |
Under the Malaysian Medical Act 1971 and the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) Guidelines on Telemedicine, the "practice of medicine" including medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment is a regulated activity requiring specific licensing and registration. Neopause is not a telemedicine platform and does not operate under or seek to operate under the Telemedicine Act 1997. The Specialist Clarity Session is not a medical consultation, teleconsultation, or telemedicine service; it is a structured health education session facilitated by Neopause as an information platform.
The specialist professionals who facilitate Neopause Specialist Clarity Sessions, including the Neopause endocrinologist and gynaecologist, are fully registered medical practitioners registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) under the Medical Act 1971 and hold valid Annual Practising Certificates (APC) issued by the MMC. They are licensed to practise medicine in Malaysia.
However, when facilitating a Neopause Specialist Clarity Session, these professionals do so in their capacity as health educators and clinical content contributors to the Neopause educational platform — not in their capacity as your treating clinician. Their participation does not constitute the practice of medicine as regulated by the MMC, the Medical Act 1971, or the Telemedicine Act 1997. You should not assume that professional indemnity protections applicable to clinical consultations apply to your Specialist Clarity Session.
The Neopause Specialist Clarity Session is a 30-minute structured health education session facilitated by the Neopause platform. It is designed to provide you with general health education and information relevant to perimenopause and menopause, informed by your quiz results or shared symptom profile, helping you formulate informed questions to raise with your own healthcare provider.
What the Specialist Clarity Session Absolutely Is Not: The following activities will NOT occur during a Specialist Clarity Session: medical consultation, clinical assessment, diagnosis, prescription or recommendation of any medication (including hormone replacement therapy - HRT), or review of clinical investigations. No doctor-patient relationship is created. You are a user of an educational information platform, and the ethical, legal, and professional duties that a doctor owes to a patient do not apply.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Neopause and the specialist facilitating your session shall not be liable for any loss, damage, harm, or adverse outcome arising out of or in connection with decisions you make or actions you take based upon information shared during the session. You commit to maintaining an ongoing relationship with a qualified healthcare provider for the management of your health.
Payment & Cancellation Policy: The session is priced at USD $89 per 30-minute session, with full payment required via Stripe at the time of booking. Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows forfeit the full session fee. No refunds will be issued once a session has been completed.
Recording Policy: You are strictly prohibited from recording, transcribing, or capturing the Specialist Clarity Session by any means without prior explicit written consent.

This questionnaire is an indicative, self-reported check informed by workplace menopause guidance, including ISO 45010:2026. Only the first eight questions contribute to the readiness snapshot; priorities and barriers are unscored. It is not an ISO audit, certification, legal compliance assessment or clinical assessment. Neopause scoring bands are independently designed and are not ISO-defined thresholds.
